Sparkling Palaces was founded in 2002 by Amy Boggs, who is the original Sparkler. Amy cleaned houses for years, developing her meticulous cleaning system that she then taught to all of her employees. Growing beyond a one-woman operation, Amy wanted to be able to provide an amazing place for people to work. Slowly, Amy built the company into what it is today: a place where over 25 Sparklers work and receive excellent pay, have access to health benefits, paid sick time and paid vacation time, flexible scheduling, and actually enjoy what they do! Many Sparklers stay with Sparkling Palaces for years, citing the great working conditions as the reason. Because of this, Sparkling Palaces always sends highly skilled cleaners to people's homes. Sparkling Palaces sets the industry standard for detailed cleaning! Amy values community and fostering a supportive workplace. Every morning Friday the Sparklers gather in their sun-lit office office in Laurelhurst, to shout-out gratitude for each other and hear feedback from the clients who've had their homes sparkled. It's always the highlight of the week! In her free time you'll probably find Amy outside in the nature of the Pacific Northwest with her dog Charlie. She enjoys gardening, hiking, meditation and reading. Her plans are to continue growing her pollinator-friendly backyard garden in SE Portland and make it a safe haven for all the neighborhood bees.
