Sacramento County County Engineering (County Engineering) serves property owners and the development community by delivering Site Improvement and Permit (SIPS) services, special district financing and administration, and surveying and mapping support; the department reviews and approves engineered civil improvement plans, assists with subdivision and parcel map processes, prepares and administers infrastructure financing and development impact fees, issues encroachment and grading permits, and provides guidance on property addressing and transportation permits while emphasizing speedy, transparent, accountable, and reliable (STAR) service and efficient turn-around times.
