The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is the state agency responsible for protecting and improving the health and well-being of Nebraskans by delivering public health services, behavioral health, children and family services, developmental disabilities supports, Medicaid and long-term care programs, licensing and regulatory oversight, and a range of assistance programs.
