Nashville Electric Service - Music City Solar

Music City Solar is a community solar initiative powered by Nashville Electric Service (NES) aimed at providing clean, renewable energy to the Nashville area. The project transformed a former landfill into Nashville's first community solar park, featuring over 17,000 solar panels. It offers customers the opportunity to purchase solar panel subscriptions to earn energy credits on their electric bills, promoting environmental sustainability and reducing carbon emissions. The initiative also supports the community through the Solar Angel Fund, which provides energy assistance to low-income customers. Music City Solar emphasizes community involvement and environmental responsibility, helping Nashville move toward a greener future with accessible, maintenance-free solar energy options.
