Fremont Recycling and Transfer Station is a one-stop facility serving the Tri-Cities community that provides residential and commercial recycling, solid waste disposal, and safe household hazardous waste management; Fremont Recycling and Transfer Station operates a transfer station and Material Recovery Facility (MRF) open to the public Monday through Saturday, emphasizes sustainability through renewable solar power (a 398 kW system that has produced more than 5 million kWh and avoided over 4,000 metric tons of carbon emissions), and is owned and operated by BLT Enterprises, with a focus on convenient, environmentally responsible handling and processing of recyclables and waste for Alameda County residents and local businesses.
