The Detroit Collaborative Design Center (DCDC) is a community-engaged design center housed within the University of Detroit Mercy School of Architecture & Community Development that partners with neighborhood groups across Detroit to deliver high-quality, participatory design projects. The company combines studio-based design, community engagement, education, and initiatives such as Grassroots Design Access and Resilient, Healthy + Thriving Neighborhoods to support local development, mentor architecture students, and assist communities with planning, design, and implementation from its office on the McNichols campus.
