Detroit Artists Market serves Metro Detroit artists, art enthusiasts, collectors, and curators by providing exhibition opportunities, a platform to sell work, artist programs, membership benefits, workshops, and a gift shop. Detroit Artists Market’s exhibitions are chosen collaboratively by a volunteer Exhibitions committee of local artists, curators, educators, and arts administrators to maintain a community-centric, intersectional curatorial approach rather than relying on a single curator. The company also runs community outreach and fundraising initiatives to support artists and enrich the Detroit art scene, and operates a free public gallery at 4719 Woodward Avenue.
