ARTIS is a luxury custom woodworking and fine cabinetry studio serving Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C., led by owner and craftsman Luke Agnew who trained at the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship. ARTIS specializes in handcrafted built-ins and high-end millwork—using only solid, premium wood (no particle board or MDF)—to create home libraries, offices, entertainment centers, fireplace mantels, mudrooms, walk-in closets, wainscoting, ecclesiastical work and other custom interior features, with a focus on precision, timeless design, and personalized craftsmanship.
