Is it really worth investing in a robotic lawn mower?

I’ve been considering getting a robotic mower, but I’m still unsure if it’s worth the investment. My lawn is a decent size with some uneven areas, and mowing every weekend is starting to feel like a chore. I’ve seen claims that these mowers can handle slopes and map the yard, but I’m skeptical—do they actually cut evenly, or do they miss spots? Also, how much maintenance do they really need? If you have one, does it save you time, or is it more hassle than it’s worth? I’d love some honest feedback before making a decision. Thanks!

It really depends on your lawn and location. I have one, and it struggles a lot—it's almost unusable this time of year in Florida. The ground is too soft, so it can't turn around; instead, it digs. If you have flat ground around the edges of your property, it will likely work fine.
